Awesome event... Makes you wonder why the hell people even bother paying for UFC anymore with the recent tragic fight cards...

Nog vs Barnett one of the best fights EVER!!!

Cro Cop is the man! I knew he'd finally put it all together someday! And the Barnet Nog fight was a great match!

Yeah his punching was scary... I wanted Barnett to win the whole thing but after that CroCop performance my god... He destroyed them...

Another great event from Pride FC. Off the top of my head, here's five reasons why Pride is better than the UFC.

1. Better fighters. 90% of the UFC fighters are American - Pride fighters are international. The UFC has a handful of fighters that could compete in Pride, but that's it, just a handful.

2. A ring and not a cage. Watching wrestlers dominate people by mashing them against the cage is boring.

3. No elbow strikes. Elbow strikes favor the boring wrestler and stop many entertaining fights early from superficial cuts.

4. Knees and kicks to a downed opponent are allowed. Prevents the boring wrestler or JJ guy from stalling on the ground.

5. Better scoring. Pride officials want action and they've set up the scoring rules to reflect that. If you fight a defensive, boring fight in Pride, you won't get the decision (unless you're Japanese).

Yup... Also I think it shows more technique in using GNP and looking for a submission rather than just throw short elbow strikes...
