The Colts took advantage of a late interception by Nick Harper to move deep into field goal position and Adam Vinatieri did the rest. Though much ink has been spent analyzing the impact of Vinatieri's injury, the clutch kicker shrugged off any discomfort to convert all four of his attempts on Sunday evening. Additionally, he booted kickoffs deep into the end zone with great regularity, putting the Giants in poor starting field position.

Vinatieri's perfection in the kicking game allowed the Colts to overcome a lackluster effort by the running game. Unless there's a setback down the road, Vinatieri is clearly poised to be one of the game's top kickers this season behind Peyton Manning and company.

Peyton Manning and the Colts got the win tonight, but younger brother Eli Manning won the fantasy battle.

Notice that for all the hype of the defensive fronts of these teams, there was only one sack recorded this day.
