probably good advice - I can't help but watch all these 9/11 shows on Discovery, TLC, PBS, and History Channel - my birthday is 9/12 so every year I have to deal with this dread of remembering 9/11 - it's tough and difficult to say the least

a couple thousand people died....in the big scheme of things....it was a TINY incident, & will be forgotten within 100-200 years

can you imagine being on the british isles when the vikings landed for a splurge?...watching your mother get violated, your father slain, your brothers & sisters murdered.. your village burnt to the ground, over & over & over & over again

or lets go back to vlad the impaler days.....where 3-4,000 of the cities "elite" were impaled on giant logs (probably in their rectum for a slow death)

or how about ethiopian children starving to death right now, their stomachs bloated, their teeth falling out
