iPod Video 60GB freezes
 

Hi guys,
I am having problems with my iPod Video 60GB model.
It simply freezes when I try to recharge it. There is only one icon on desktop and it says "Do not disconnect". When I try to deattach it from windows, the icon and text are still there....it simply freezes, I can't even turn it off....seems like something is broken.

Any ideas?

Usually throwing it down the stairs helps. :winkwink:

i had the same problem...................after that screen went away

i plugged it into a macintosh, and it FORMATTED the whole the fucking thing :|

without even asking me, fucking macs!

You did read the documentation that said 'This is formatted for X, use the firmware updater on Y to install support for Y.', right? It's all over Apple's site, too.

You plug it into a mac and let the firmware updater run, you acknowledge you are reformatting it.

I had that same problem with my gen 2 ipod... funny
