U.S. Airport secuity: get a CLUE
 

To ensure Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing them, U.S. airport screeners will not be allowed to profile people. They will continue random searches of 80 year old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret service agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85 year old congressmen with metal hips and Medal Of Honor winning former Governors.
Let's pause a moment and take the following test.

Yes there is a pattern, which is so obvious, that they will be trying to change that pattern, by attempting to recruit people that do not fit the profile.

I doubt that they will have a lot of luck in this effort, but they will undoubtedly try.

The US needs to really get a grip on security. Security on international flights tightened up after sept 11 but domestic flights hardly did anything for security. Funny thing is the Sept 11 flights were all DOMESTIC flights.........

I think the most important thing now is that passangers on any such flight would probably take action themselves against hijackers.

The bottom line is that the passangers could have stopped all the hijackers on 9/11, and lived. But, they didn't know those hijackers were on a suicide mission. They didn't know to act fast enough before they gained control of the cockpit.

A typical hijacking has the plane landing, sitting for awhile, and everyone gets off eventually. Now that that's been changed in people's minds, I don't think any group of hijackers is prepared to take on dozens of people rushing them right away.

Yeah, if I'm ever on a flight where some Arab fucks wanna start shit, I'm gonna be on them like a dirty shirt, and I'm sure there will be 50 other guys doing the same thing.

But I don't think terrorists will try to hijack planes anymore, they probably realise that it would be really hard to do now, so they're probably thinking up new ways to cause terror, like blowing up buildings and bridges and stuff.

If they're armed with stupid box-cutters they'll look pretty fuggin stupid with them sticking out of their ears, because I'd go apeshit before letting them get away with whatever they're trying to pull.

Want to hear something TRULY pathetic? My 70 year old white grandmom flew out of Tampa to visit us in March. There was a young arab man in front of her in the line to board the plane in Tampa. Guess who the genius security people decided to interrogate???? MY GRANDMOM! Truly insane. They pulled her out of the line, patted her down, inspected her shoes, and spilled out the entire contents of her purse to inspect it all. But they didn't do a thing to the arab man! CRAZY!!!! I'm glad they're keeping us safe from all these crazy gun-wielding grandma's out there :feels-hot

Assuming I was a psychotic goat-raping terrorist leader, the last people I would want to carry out terrorist attacks in the US would be people of middle-eastern appearance.

I'd be far less likely to raise suspicion by getting an elderly man or woman who was sympathetic to my cause to do the dirty work...

The whole airline security thing is just a ploy to keep people feel like they can contiue to fly and feel safe. The reality is that they can still sit outside the airport with a wire guided, shoulder launched missle and drop a plane out of the sky any time they want to.

I think all young, white, American men should be profiled. Give them the full body cavity search with rubber gloves and all.

You never know when one of them might be the next Tim McVeigh.
