when i open up a link in any page, it opens up and is mad small...how do i set it so everytime i open a link on a page, it is already maximized instead of clicking on maximize everytime i open up a link?

manually resize the window with the lower right corner, drag it out to full size and the close it by clicking on the X in the top right. The next time you open a window it will be big again.

tried that...still doesnt work...strange...

Try doing that a couple times...

Open a new window and resize it then close all IE windows.

Or right click and press "x" to maximize

Reinstall windows

When you resize a window, it only effects windows created (opened) AFTER this is done - the rest that are ALREADY opened still don't know anything about what you've just done. Don't ask me why - this is something that drives me crazy, too.

IE sucks, opera or even netscape seems to work better.

resize the window to its maximum, close the window by using CTRL + the x, then close any other ies open, restart IE.

or, open new window, close all others, resize to max, then ctrl close it

ahh... the older versions you didn't need to hit control. Thanks, I was wondering that myself.

Turn off your Matrox desktop management software if you've got a matrox video card.

except that IE is the only browser that makes html look like its supposed to look

try this...

close ALL your current windows..

Open I.E so all you have is 1 open window.

Click a link to produce the second window.

Resize that new window by stetching it to the size you want.

Minimize it and close the original window using the "X" then close the resized window using the "X"

Restart I.E and you should be good to go..
