need an mpeg editor
 

need something to go from mpeg to mpeg.

can't use virtual dub because it converts from mpeg to avi. My flix blows up when I try load large movies so that's no good.


I looked at a great mpeg editor from honestech but it doesnt decrease the screen size of the clips, only the length, so I end up with really big but really short clips.

I'm trying to create small clips that are under 300k.

Any suggestions?

VCDCutter? It will do mpeg but not avi.

Actually what is good for cutting AVI? Premier seems to distort everything.

Cut MPEGS with TMPEGEnc.

Cut AVI with Virtual Dub.
