first part is good but

also I would put quotes around one and two

that was just an example of what i need help on..
there are tons and tons of stuff

also for instead of using mysql_connect a good thing to do is to write

$link = @mysql_connect(blah blah)
or die($php_errormsg);

print ("connected");
mysql_close($link);


doing the way you did it wont give you a clue if thats the problem in the script. Closing mysql_close function isnt required but I like to put it in to keep the mysql connection open for as little time as possible, especially helpful wiht resources if your script take 30 seconds to run and finishes getting all mysql info in first few lines...

if none of this makes sense well its 3 am now and Im not sober ....
