Here's another flaw in Google's algorithm
Google penalizes sites for having the same content. All competitors have to do to fuck up another site is create a bogus domain and site and make a mirror copy of their competitors site or copy large amounts of text to this domain....
saw a post about scraping and this came to mind..... |
they should stop trying to find ways to penalize sites, because penalization techniques can always be used to mess up rankings of sites by competitors. they should just concentrate on weighing strengths of each site.

Thanks for the tip.

Only if they steal content that havent been indexed before, and they get index before the guy that wrote the text. + there are loads of legal actions you can take agains people who copy content.
But rule #1 dont show other webmasters your sites .. to be honest, and dont take this the wrong way, I dont think you can find any flaws in their algorithm. It's not like they dont invest a lot of time and knowledge into their business. |
or you could just not care about rankings at all, because they are bullshit anyway.
|
Google claims that this won't work as they won't penalize the older site. They claim that it's impossible to f/u another site by what you do on your own.

I hope so, that would really suck if someone could copy your site to lower it's ranking. Also I hear having ffa links to your site can hurt, so why not start a cluster of these sites just to screw your competition? |
that doesn't work, the copycats would be supplementals.
|
Hahaha! I just copied all of your sites and spammed them out! You're going down fuxorz!!!
