if you want to stay for that length of time then you'll need a visa.
Canadians can be in the US for a maximum of 3 months, to my understanding. Here's a link to a Canadian site for citizens interested in working in the US -http://www.immigration.ca/us/work.asp and of course, with some navigation on this site - http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/index.htm - (US Immigration) you might find some information too A trip to the US Embassy in Van might provide some answers as well Consulate General Vancouver 1075 West Pender Street Phone (604) 685-4311 Phone (604) 685-7175 Fax http://www.amcits.com/vancouver.asp Good luck! |
good luck man!

You can visit for 6 months but cannot work, if you want to work you gotta get a visa, which means you need a University Degree on the TN free trade professions list. You can get a TN right at the border if you have all your shit together, takes like 30 minutes. Other then that, its not very easy, unless you are cuban and float into the country.
