BIZ - How many webmater signups do you think GFY does?
 

In your experience, or take a guess, how many webmaster signups do you think GFY gets for all the banners on the site?

10, 100, 1000?

From my experience if you can catch the attention of the webmasters here you get a TON of clicks and probably a few signups.

Are you desensitized to the ads here?

Yeah, the ads are pretty $$$ too, so they've got to get some decent signups.

100 is too much I think, but you better ask someone else

I'd have to take a guess and say that GFY does more webmaster signups then anywhere else.

(Now to determine how many of them are actually surfers signing up for webmaster accounts is another thing ;-) )

heh bingo...... it's probably hard to judge, many webmasters may not directly click the banner and just type in the url later, or forget to mention where they were referred from etc

That about sums it up.

Advertising on GFY is all about getting your program's name out there. Once people know a program exists, chances are they will give it a try eventually.

never think about that,probablu very decent number:)

I get a few new every week only from my sig, so a banner should bring in a good couple. And as mentioned before, it is MUCH about branding!
