Should I get my driver's license?

Never really had a reason to, since I live within 500 meters of pretty much every place I go to on a regular basis (university, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.). Having a car would actually be an inconvenience, since I would need to find parking space in what may well be one of the most car-unfriendly cities in the world.

Still, I figure that the later I learn to drive, the harder it will be. Any thoughts?

depends on what your future plans are.

or if you like cars and could imagine buying one for a hobby.

i mean if you travel abroad the best way to explore a country is to rent a car.

Well, I don't really see a car being useful in my life, but you never know what the future will bring.

Even if I had a car, I'd use it once a month, tops. Meanwhile, just getting lessons and a license would cost something like $2000. Add a car, gas, insurance, taxes, and I'll be paying tens of thousands of dollars for the same transportation that costs me a few hundred bucks a year now. And I won't even be able to read a book while travelling :Oh crap
