In defense of Newbreed...

I don't usually post on here, but today while reading the threads I saw there was some drama going on about Newbreed... I just thought I'd post my own thoughts and experiences.

I got aquainted with Bill in May 2005, just prior to the new 2257 regs going into effect. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Arika (and many others) at the show in San Diego in June 2005.

Bill was always straight up with me, even after Arika and he started having problems and she ultimately left. He was trying to hold things together as best he could, even though inside he was crushed. He had his whole live wrapped up in her and he literally was devastated.

For those of you who have never experienced the bizzare form of insanity induced by separation and /or divorce (or when co-habitators finally split the blanket) you should consider yourselves lucky.

For those of you who HAVE experienced it, perhaps a small amount of compassion would be in order for Newbreed.

Sometimes people go off the deep end and do things they would never contemplate doing when circumstances in life are going 'normal' (whatever that is...) Many of you know Newbreed personally and know that given normal circumstances he's a straight-up kinda guy.

After Arika left him and he started having financial troubles, I forgave him his debts to me and wished him well, said a few prayers that he would make out ok... I'll continue to do that.

The important thing to get out of all of this is that people will be people and none of us is perfect... we all make mistakes and given certain circumstances we'll make the wrong choices, emotionally, morally or physically. We can only hope that when we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, there'll still be friends out there to lend a hand.

Agreed... I don't know anyone in here who would function normally if one of their loved ones just decided to boot off...
