CelebrityCash.com is excellent.
You should definately add their new feeds. There are celebrity gossip, scandals, stripped and famous, birthdays, top celebs and more. The feeds have been working great for a lot of affiliates. You can check out some of the samples celebritycash.com/samples-112/feeds/ |

i should give them a try... |
I am in their backend right now and am trying to grab their rss feeds, but I went to their rss feed page and can't seem to find an rss url
all they give me is some script that looks like this <script src='http://www.celebritycashrocks.com/f/birthdays/site-fcQQfsQQnct/rsid-834075/g-f/items-10/columns-2/headshots-1/hsiz-m/noage-0/ho-l/guess-0'></script> and some css to post in my page that isn't rss, that is just dynamic content anyone know what is up with that? |
They offer RSS type of feeds for their bigger affiliates since they don't want anyone redirecting their feeds to other sites. Something that is very easy to do with RSS.
|
They have some sample sites.
http://www.top25malecelebs.com Sexkey.com is using their feeds with great success. http://www.sexkey.com/members/browse...ousStarsFemale Another site using their feeds along with promoting other sites is http://www.famousbeautiessite.com/ |

Why do you want true RSS instead of the ones offered at CelebrityCash.com Is there really a difference? |

I would rather use rss feeds that are for all the affiliates, that way they are kept up nicely and updated frequently |
Ive did well with them months ago.
|
I got the same email today advertising all their great RSS feeds... kinda shitty that you can't actually use them.
|
I asked the programmer of the CelebrityCash.com feeds, what is the difference between RSS, XML and JavaScript.
Here was his response ----------- XML is a syntax concept and protocol. RSS is one such protocol defined w/ XML, defined in an RFC standard. The javascript delivery method, though I haven't seen it offered, is sorta like how we offer our feeds. It isn't RSS by any way shape or form, but it's the same 'effect' of providing data to webmasters. The big difference is, of course, that it must be provided in a static layout. A lot of feeds, such as ours, allow customizations, some even way more so (ala Google AdWords). But in reality it is not RSS at all. ------------ He also said that the concern about making CelebrityCash.com feeds as and XML based RSS feed is that an RSS/XML feed can be changed so that traffic can be sent somewhere else instead of back to CelebrityCash.com. Since Celebrity Cash is delivering content ie: Pictures, videos etc... this can't be done by using the feeds they way they are now. Once they establish a trust factor with an affiliate, then they can make them available as a true RSS XML feed. |
Hit me up at 287 954 348 and we can talk more about the feeds.

We are considering delivering some of the feeds via actual RSS though I can't give you a commitment to that yet. Using full XML / RSS would limit how creative we could allow webmasters to be in configuring and customizing the feeds. Right now, all of our feeds are really customizable. You will have to login into celebritycash.com and test them out to really get a good feel for them. Currently we are working with methods to implement the feeds into blogs. We have affiliates doing so in blogs they host themselves but, not on 'hosted' blogs. A site under development now it EasyHollywood.com which uses word press. At http://easyhollywood.com/celebrity-news/ you will see our news / gossip feed in WordPress. I'll keep you informed on the RSS issue as it develops. In the meantime if there are any questions I can answer don't hesitate to ask. You can hit me up at 287 954 348 if you would like to talk further. Below is a how a webmaster would configure our feeds. http://www.celebritycash.com/sample-images/feeds.jpg |
Wow, I logged into your site and I have to say that this is by far the best feeds that I have seen.
When are you going to have a version ready to go for the Hosted version of Webpress and Blogger. I really want to get this going on my blogs. Thanks for a great product. I got my first join within a few hours. |

I noticed that XXXCash.com and CelebrityCash.com have the same celebrity sites. Are they operated by the same company?
|
Quote:
Yes, that is correct. CelebrityCash.com and XXXcash.com have the same sites in both programs. Eventually the celebrity sites will only be available in CelebrityCash.com however users logged into XXXcash.com will be able to access the stats at celebritycash.com with one click. |
Bump!!!!!!

We have also launched our RSS feeds in MrSkinCash, about 2 weeks ago. There are both RSS 2.0, ATOM, RSS .9 and Javascript versions for all the feeds.
Here are the feeds: Birthday Girls Top 10 Lists Top Search Actresses Babe of the Day Skinternational Babe of the Day Daily Pics and Clips Update If you have any questions about them you can email me directly ([email protected]) or Rob, our Affiliate Guy ([email protected]). |

while we are on the topic though...your feeds kind of um....suck? I will just copy the email I sent last week and never got a response from Quote:
|
Great, thanks for all the good info.
|
The problem with the javascript feeds are they provide no SEO benefits either. True RSS feeds can be imported into almost anything, not just blogs and if setup right can be customized by the webmaster with CSS. You shouldn't be paranoid that a webmaster will use it and change it to promote another site. The benefits of releasing RSS feeds far outweigh any abuses in my opinion.
|
I started using the Java Script feeds from CelebrityCash.com and I love them. Sometimes the way companies use their RSS makes them difficult to work with. I am really looking forward to the RSS feeds from Celebritycash. I just hope they are as good and easy to configure as their Java Script version.

um...mr celebritycash, can you please include some images in there?
i know you all have expressed concern in the past about people using the rss feeds and basically you not making any sales and them sucking your bandwidth, but are you all that cheap that you can't provide us with some images in the rss feeds? |
also, this feed
http://www.celebritycashrocks.com/f/...ker-Feed_Title gives this error Warning: MagpieRSS: Failed to parse RSS file. (not well-formed (invalid token) at line 24, column 120) in /home/adailyfi/public_html/celebs/wp-includes/rss-functions.php on line 1169 |
whew, ok, more crap
check out what your feeds do: http://celebs.adailyfix.com/ they give me a nice big paragraph and NOT ONE SINGLE LINK that goes to the site????? what is the surfer supposed to click on so that I get credit for a sale? for instance http://celebs.adailyfix.com/2006/11/...ney-threatens/ did you not want surfers clicking through? |

I appreciate you taking the time to try our feeds out. I spoke with our programmer who created the RSS version of our feeds and he said that most likely you will have to create a parser for the images. We have two versions of the RSS, a formatted version and a Raw RSS version. My programmer explained why he chose to do the Java Script version first because any webmaster could very easily get it up and working. The RSS version is for more advanced webmasters like your self. Depending on your server etc? you may have to write additional code to parse all of the RSS feed. We had another programmer who used PHP to parse it and he had it up and running within a few minutes, and this is what he wrote. This is a quick and dirty script I wrote (there are better ways to it). First you have to edit it with a simple text editor to change the RSS url. It's within the first line of code. If you put it on a php page, you just include it with this code: <? include 'feed.php'; ?> Or If you wanna include it with SSI (server side includes) in an shtml (or html) file, you can use this code: <!--#include virtual="feed.php" --> And you need to make sure your server has SSI support enabled. Here is the PHP code. <? $o = implode(file("http://www.celebritycashrocks.com/f/topcelebs/via_rss/wmr-link/site-fcQQfsQQchQQnct/rsid-819231/g-f/items-25/headshots-1/icons-0/columns-1/hsiz-m/ho-t/si-1/marker-Feed_Topf")); $p = simplexml_load_string($o, 'SimpleXMLElement', LIBXML_NOCDATA); print ($p->channel->description); ?> |
