People selling domains. *sigh*
 

On reading the buy\sell\trade board:

99% of you are living in dreamland and your domains are worth 10% of what you are asking at most. 50% of the time not even reg fee.

If someone has domains\sites making 1-10 bucks a month I will buy them for 10+ months income depending on the offering.

Im guessing fuck all will come of this but surprise me if you can.

please explain why anyone would take a deal like this
for $100 bucks today they would have give up $120 by the end of the year + $120 a year forever.

everyone dreams of getting rich off domain sales. i know the price i would want for most of my domains might be a little high but i know they are worth a lot more if i would develop them and the ones that are developed are worth even more than that to me.

you can blame those paying insane prices for domains making people think this way.

Domains are like realestate. Only worth waht someone is willing to pay.

So what do you have?
Compare it to buying property on Park avenue and buying a tenement in a ghetto....

I sold a mainstream domain for $10,000 back in January, it had no traffic whatsoever, but the new owner had some kind of plans for it.

The best way to sell a domain name I've found, is to sit on it until someone offers to buy it from you, and I don't mean those guys who email every day saying "this is a serious offer" who email me about 2-3 different ones per day :mad:
