Not really a big deal, the admitting part that is, but to me the big deal is that Condi Rice has said over and over and over that there were none of them, they did not exist, and the U.S. did not do that sort of thing.

Makes me wonder what else they lie about.

I ran a secret prison for cats once. I forgot about it and all of them starved to death. I only regret not putting an extra fifty in there. I didn't fill it to maximum capacity because I figured they would eventually realize they had the advantage with their superior numbers.

Na.. we don't do any of that nasty stuff - everyone is treated humainly and they are given free world tours to resort locations that just happen to have some of the worst human rights cred on the planet :pimp

Sure - there was, prob still is, - plenty torture going on. The files are getting thicker on "victim statements" at the Red Cross, HRW and a few other orgs. Some of the people who have given statements have been interviewed by journalists - makes interesting reading. The pattern is often the same on each account.

Who knows, but smell Bush's admission may end up resulting in more questions being raised.
