I only played WC 2 and I loved it, also played Star Craft which was amazing.

What makes it good is you can play online against other people which is better than playing against the computer.

All very good simulation/strategy...build a city/economy/army. Keeps your brain in tune while enjoying :)

civilization 2 or 3 is still the best

I've been playing Fallout 1 & 2 and Fallout Tactics for a while know, damn these games are addictive, not to mention HUGE. When you're in that virtual world you have absolutely NO concept of the passage of time.

I highly recommend these games.

I just got done playing a game of StarCraft... no one here would be able to beat me...

I used to be pretty good when I played, haven't played in awhile. I had a 300-100 bnet record.

I've played over 2000 games probably, that game is addicting.

Tiberian Sun by westwood is a good one, I like it better than star craft and red alert 2. I cannot wait until Tiberian Twilight comes out.

All those Black Isle games are great - I've just finished Planescape Torment - a great waste of weeks of my life :thumbsup BG, BGII, FallOut I & II are all on the harddrive - I need more hours in the day....

i'm sorry but quake was the best fps. still is gameplay wise.

Warcraft 2 is great fun to play - the only real strategy game I have liked so far. Mostly cos of the fantasy setting. There was a warcraft adventures game in the making that they canned - that would hae been incredible.

BTW, if you are a fan of Starcraft, WarCraft I and II, they kinda blew it with WC 3. If its not broke, don't fix it! They changed the game play too much.

warcraft 3 is awesome. a lot more complicated them sc, but there's more strategy involved.

Im anxiously awaiting WC3.. but i wasn't the biggest fan of WC2.. there was far less "strategy" in the single player missions.. a lot of it seemed like trial and error to find the right amount of resources to use to have the right amount and diversity of troops to finish som of the levels.. I remember a few levels where you had to lose to find out what exactly to do based on how much gold was in the mine.. anyways that pissed me off.. it's a very lazy form of strategy.. but it was still a good game and all the others WC1, starcraft etc are great..

civ 1, 2 and 3 rocked nads as well.. prolly spent way more time playing those... just.. one.. more... turn.... :)

SC was a lot better than War Craft 2. WC3 has 4 races - how's that for strategy?

Medal of Honor is good if you want a straight forward realistic shooting game...Also Max Payne

Medal of Honor is awesome, the scene when you land on the beach in Normandie is unbelievable...
Game is a bit short though, and in the end a bit repetitive..

Does anyone know if Bnet works on a network? We have a LAN setup and I'm a client not the server. Bnet doesn't work for me, I'll try it on the server and see if it works. When I tried playing Star Craft on b.net it didnt work..

anyways, starcraft was the best freaking strategy game ever.. incredible balance between 3 totally different races and its a fast game.. i still play it..

i heard they are gonna start working on SC2 soon and they are planning to have a 4th race that is something between Zerg and Protoss.. Cant wait!

already downloaded it off kazaa, beautiful game.

The game is just a preparation for the multiplayer, it teaches you how to use the characters, the real game begins on battlenet, otherwise it's pretty boring. But the graphics and movies in it are kick ass.
