White lies or serious lies? The last serious lie I did was with the person I just chatted. I said I'm 6 ft tall and a sporty type of guy. :)

I recently told a friend's octogenarian mother that her son was doing alright during a family reunion. She had been asking me how he was, insisting why he doesn't call and didn't visit her during the holidays. My friend drowned in a boat accident last year, and the family decided not to tell her.
