i need some help, how do i .....

I just got my new contents and each files size are rather large. They all over 100 K , i would like to reduce the file size while not to make actual picture too small. Does anyone know any software that can do that. thanks in advance

Adobe's ImageReady can optimize the image automatically.

I always use Paint Shop Pro for resizing images. It works good, and pretty cheap. Under $100 if I remember correctly, plus there's a trial version to check it out. You can download it at www.jasc.com .

thanks for replying.

I have Pain Shop Pro. Is that meant i have to resize picture by pitcure. Wouldn't it take a long time?

is there a software that optimize the a set of images instead of one picture by one picutre?

theres a program called debabelizer (quite an old prog) that will batch process images very well, it can do all sorts of things to them. i use it all the time.

get in touch if you want a copy

thumbsplus will do all that with a few mouse clicks.

CompPic Pro is the best all around tool I am aware of. Does what you want and way more.

i have "small animal thumbnailer"

does this program also optimize the image like thumbsplus?

anymore suggestion?

Fireworks can do batch processing. You can even write (or record) scripts to have it do more complex stuff if you want.

You can get the trial version at the Macromedia website.

i use Ulead Smartsaver Pro 3.0 plugin with Photoshop. I think Usp3 is the best tool for .jpg optimization

if you want to resize the image then use these : IMAGENGINE,Express thumbnail creator and the list goes on ...........

if you want to reduce the file size without reducing the image size then use jpezwizard.search CNET for jpeg optimizer

IrfanView has a nice little batch editor :thumbsup
