fucking realplayer took over my computer! fuck that shit
 

before i installed the realplayer there was this box where i could choose what to do when i plugged in my usb-stick, ipod or external harddrive.

now (after installing this fucking piece of crap) everytime i plug in a usb-device the same box pops up but with only one option : MANAGE THE DEVICE WITH REAL PLAYER

WTF?


i just got rid of this junk again.
i will never ever install this shit again.


i even read through all the shit when installing it and selected what i want it to play/do.

Quicktime gives me the shits as well, it still associates itself with file types you've unchecked during install. Short of uninstalling it I can't figure out how to stop it kicking in when Mozilla sees an mpeg file.

I don't know why anyone would even bother screwing around with realplayer. I thought everyone knew it was shit that "takes over your computer". Just stop it already. Stop downloading it. Stop using it. Just stop.


I use nothing but Window's media player. It at least has never fucked with my settings.
