Lowest price for domain registrations
I got 2 spams today, one for $7 domains, and another for $5 domains. The $7 domain one wants to do it by email, screw that. The $5 one is 404, domain5dollars.com.
I use namebargain for $8.88. Who is the lowest priced one out there (that's real)? |
I've always just stuck w/ Directnic. Much easier to keep track w/ all my domains in one place, so I've never looked into any others...
|
GoDaddy.com is great 8.95/yr but if you want email, page forwarding, and nameserver services stargateinc.com is good.
|
I have all mine with powerpipe.com
Used to be $8.88 now down to $7.99, they will squeeze lower if you are renewing 50 or more. |
How about if I open up one of these places and call it Domains For A Dollar.
|
I know some of you have a shit pot of domain names but I would think about what eRock is saying.
I really like DirectNic and use them myself. I know it is $ 100.00 if not $ 1,000.00 more for some of you, so I guess it's a trade off..... I really like'em and they answer email's. |
I like registerfly.com

never any problems.. just email them lens.. i'm sure they'll give them to you for $6.99 in exchange for a jacket or something |
I'm paying $9 with BulkRegister.Com
I know that I could be saving a dollar or so elsewhere but I've really enjoyed using them for managing about 500 domains over the last two years. With all the business failures out there, I feel pretty confident that they're here to stay. Plus, although they had problems a long time ago I believe their support is pretty good now. Brad |
I like registerfly because you can pay by paypal. My credit card is maxed.
|
I started with Register for my first one, but smartened up and went with DirectNic, which is way better and way cheaper. And I have never really given any of the cheaper guys much thought, since DirectNic is so good. I get a kick out of Register.com, though, they gave me 5 fucking chances to re-new with them after I told them I wouldn't. Finally, as a last ditch effort to get me to stay, they told me they'd renew for $12. I said fuck 'em, and went to DirectNic for $15.
I guess if you don't need the registrar for anything but the domain, you might as well go with the cheapest one. |
Vote 3 for powerpipe - they even transferred some domains for me from godaddy for the same price as registering new names...AND gave me 1 years registration into the bargain :thumbsup
|
I use directnic
and pay $15 per domain I know I could get it much cheaper elsewhere but I like their services a lot so I dont mind paying a little extra and its still cheaper than doing it thru network solutions |
we do EVERYTHING through hosteurope.com
they're a little more expensive, maybe its not worth it, but they have a nice setup. :thumbsup domains are $35 for two years. domain watchers are $22 a year. :thumbsup |
cheapest is not always best
www.domainnamesystems.com [i've used them since they started] 15$ to start 12$ @ 50, and 10$ @ 100 names last week i was trying to register a name and their form wasnt working, I emailed them and within minutes the server was rebooted and i could reg.. . everyone i have talked to likes their service |
$35 a year you must be crazy..

I worked for the owner a couple years ago, he's an Extremely Stand up guy and would NEVER screw anyone, he's not into adult by any means, which you can't say about many of the other registrars... |
i use powerpipe too and once i had a problem they replied me within few minuyes.
|
I got a $6.95 with stargateinc.com which is pretty good. Also they answer emails and telephone calls and they are supportive.
Their managing system is not so good but for that price I can live with it :) |
buydomains.com was pretty decent. but i just started buying them with godaddy.com cause they are cheaper.
|
We pay less than $7 at Stargate. To get the really low prices you usually have to have 1000 +/- domains that you're registering or moving to them. Try contacting them and seeing how low they will go.
You can get a good deal with eNom as well if you've got a lot of domains. eNom's web interface is a little easier to use than Stargate in my opinion, but their prices are a tiny bit higher. I can't imagine anyone can sell domains for $5, isn't the NetSol fee more than that for the registrar? |
The $5 domain thing looks like a scam to me, the site's back up and it looks real shady.
I have over 5,000 domains with register.com, and I have a very good deal. I've used staregate and don't like the support or system. Powerpipe looks good, I like the redirect services. |
We use Enom.com and get ours for $6.95 We've been with them from the beginning and have nothing but good things to say. The phone support used to leave something to be desired, but within the last year they have really beefed up that area :)

http://www.active-domain.com/
9.95/year (.com) Free parking, free domain redirection, free unlimited subdomain, and more. I like godaddy, but they charge x-tra for some of these services. |
directnic, always.
