Domain hijacked or WTF is going on???

I have a domain with registerfly from over 3 years and is registered untill next year..
The domain worked fine untill today.. now when i try to access my domain i see a page exactlly like these ones (my domain is not in the list but the page is same..): http://www.brucio.com/ http://www.whynotalexandria.com/ http://www.spacecalendar.org/ http://www.southernmethodistcollege.org/ http://www.lithoslibri.com/ I have pointed the domain from registerfly DNS configuration to my server IP but when i try to ping my domain is looking for other IP.. the domain is not expired.. expire over 1 year.. WTH is going on with my domain? I'm very pissed off.. :( |

In the spirit of the fucktards that freuquent this place,,
quit yer bitching.. :winkwink: j/k , but looks like you need to contact registerfly |

Did you do a 'whois' on your domain? Not like we can help from a 'page looks like this' smoke and mirrors sort of question.
You also get those sometimes with a 'parked' domain if you haven't paid your host and they've returned it eNom/etc so they don't get charged for it. |

did you check which dns' listed on whois for the domain?
	 |

Good luck dealing with Registerfly they are a bunch of fucktards.

Send them a note saying you set the IP to your server's ip addresses that you serve DNS on, reset the TTL to something like 360, and let it run that way for a week or so. DNS traffic is nearly nil, unless you're a root server or that's your business. :thumbsup |

when i ping my domain from command promt i get this message:
ping www.domain.com PING www.domain.com (64.74.223.198) 56(84) bytes of data. --- www.domain.com ping statistics --- 2 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 999ms 64.74.223.198 is not my ip.. and i get:2 packets transmitted, 0 received but why i see a page when i enter the URL in address bar from my browser and when i ping the domain from command promt i see: 0 received? very strange.. example: you cand ping www.brucio.com from command promt and get 0 packets received but you can access the domain from browser..wtf? |

i sow the link from the bottom of the page and says: Inquiring about the domain 'domain.com', with status: CustomVIP |

well to be honest then without your domain name I'm afraid there really is not a lot of help myself or others can offer you.

Enom for some reason think your domain has expired.... Thats the default landing page for Enom domains that are on hold.
Go to whois.sc/yourdomain.com and see what it's status is. It looks like RegisterFly didnt tell Enom that you renewed. |

Enom is your actual registrar, Registerfly is a reseller.
It's possible that either Registerfly fucked up and pointed you to Enom/Registerfly's default DNS (which is what you're seeing) or else Registerfly hasn't paid Enom. If you don't get action from Registerfly, call Enom, their support is excellent. |

if the domain doesn't respond or behave they way it usually does
first thing i do check whois info on that domain, especially domain's dns records second i login to my registrar and check if everything is in sync there third if first 2 things are Ok i check dns server from what you've said it looks like your domain might be expired, as least the dns you listed surely tell that domain is "parked" (expired) so i suggest login to your registrar and see status of the domain, if you can access it, modify dns records back to what it was before if there are still problems after all this, contact support of your regitrar. hope it helps. |

August of next year? Did you just renew it again recently after it expired. The dns might still be updating with some name servers. Why don't you ask some of your friends to try the domain from different parts of the globe since you are afraid to post the name here. Really not much we can do without the domain info.

Gaybucks is right on with this one...The disentanglement between Enom and Registerfly has been a bit painful for them, and unfortunately a lot of the client information, payments and renewals seem to be suffering the most by slipping through the cracks. The situation has caused a number of clients to migrate to other registrars, in hopes of better service and security. If I can help anyone out with this, I will be glad to...

Stay away from registerfly. They have gone to complete shit.
