I have a question for ya ...

Its going to be so ugly the Germans are going to wish that instead of sparing their lives at the end of the war, that we would have killed them all so they would not have to witness the ass whomping they would receive 60 years later.

But what do I know? Soccer is gay. I have tried to watch it on several occassions, but my brain starts to shut down from the monotony. The mullets and gay haircuts lulling me into a hapless daze.

I'd rather watch 2 45 minute games than hundreds of 5 second games like in baseball or football

I am not going say that soccer is the most popular sport on earth again, but open your horizons a little and try to understand why so many people in the world prefer soccer to baseball, basketball or american football. Baseball, I still dont know what the hell is a pitcher and catcher and everythime something exciting happens I yell touchdown, its fucking boring. In American football, the players play for like 1 seconds and then rest or whatever the hell they do for like 10 minutes. I can pretend how those fat football players could run 45 minutes without stopping. Soccer is not gay, you just don't see the beuty of it, thats why it bores you.

american sports are all made for tv
with all the pauses in between they can put in tons of ads
I watched the superbowl on tv and I turned it off because I wanted to watch a game and not constant advertising

Americans play baseball, basketball and American football 'cos no-one else plays these sports, therefore the Americans can claim to be the best in the world :winkwink:

If something is indeed popular, and people like it, American media will whore it out and squeeze every ounce of integrity out of it.

Till it does resemble football and basketball. And I agree, baseball is just as boring as 3rd world kickball... err... I mean soccer.

The only true sports are ones that involve beating another individual man to man. Sport in its purest form. And none of that faggot boxing or pro wrestling crap.

Thats how game evolved, non lethal ways of challenging and beating an opponent.

I would like to see multiplayer UFC.

England has a good defense, but without access to fast, "easy" goal it wasn't possible to pass Brazil. I was 100% that Brazil would won the game. I have been supporting England in every single international soccer tournament, but this time I'm with Brazil.

If Brazilians had scored 1st maybe England would have been the winner now. The early goal they achived had negative results.

It's about advertizing! Nothing more, nothing less.

There aren't enough breaks in "soccer" to appeal to the US advertizer. Doesn't mean it's not a good sport, just that it's not marketable in the US.

I am a huge NFL Football fan, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the world cup til now. Moreover, when the US beats Germany in a couple hours I will be loving it even more!!
