ripping music from a CD
 

so whats the best way to rip the music from CD ? i want it to be in MP3 format. How do i get the best quality ?

I've just used Media Player in the past. Works good.

Windows media player is extremely easy, I think it rips as wmv.. but you can just convert it afterwards.

You can choose to rip to an Mp3 file as well in the Preferences.

yeah, Media Player, it has an option that says "best quality" or something, I ripped 2 CDs to get them on my MP3 player about 2 weeks ago for a first time too, extremely easy and painless

Use Winamp :)

iTunes :)

use a program called Audiograbber :thumbsup

tools > options > rip music and there's a drop down box for mp3


One of my relatives just called me the other day because he was trying to rip a CD and he was pissed because everything was .wma format.

I told him I didn't think you could rip to mp3 in WMP and made him download another program. :1orglaugh
