This weekend is Vitor vs Liddell for the main event boys...

what's your prediction?

Im gonna go with liddell. Lidell is so much better than people give him credit for. Nobody thought he would beat Randleman except ME. I predicted early KO and i was right. This time, Vitor's going down in round 2.

Call me weakhearted or whatever, but a friend gave me a VHS tape full of real fights one time, Japan finals or some shit, it was highlights from those fights, and man those guys were losing consciousness, they were in full locks for like 9 minutes and guys wouldnt even know but their opponent was unconscious, I cant get into it man, it was horrible...

These guys were pounding on each others face repeatedly, it was very different than boxing.

I couldnt watch it.

Vitor and Ortiz were suppose to go at it since September of last year... they both bailed ouf cause of injuries... i'm not sure why they made Vitor fight Liddell now!!! ah well...I would like to see Vitor win but Liddell is such an animal...it should be a good one!

Coleman is hurt. Randleman picked him up for a slam, then lost his footing. They both went down on top of Marks head and snapped his neck back. He lost all feeling in his body for 10 minutes, and spent days in the hospital. He has most of the feeling back, but its not entirely back yet.

btw, they replaced Coleman with another fat japanese pro wrestler for Frye's opponent.

You probably picked Elvis to beat Tito also. Face if, he's the real deal and he's gonna run over Shamrock. Shamrock is tough, and he has a ton of skills but he does not have the cardio to hang 5 rounds with Tito. And that has nothing to do with his fujita fight, but he's like 38 now, he's slowed down a bit in his old age.

Elvis is one of my best friends, so he would be a sentimental favorite to beat Godzilla. Hes fighting Babalu at the next UFC by the way. GO ELVIS!

Shammy's cardio was fine against Frye. Shammy is a better wrestler, puncher, and submission stylist than Tito and wont be undersized like the guys Tito usually fights.

Yes, Liddell is the favorite. If Belfort doesnt throw his hands like he used to, he will lose badly. But Im going with him. Hes been saying that he doesnt care if his hands break again, hes gunning for a knockout and is going to throw leather like he used to.

and yes, Tito is definitely the real deal. Never said he wasnt.

I hope Vitor really does throw a lot of punches - that would make for an exciting stand up fight with him and Chuck

Tito vs Ken Shamrock? shit, didn't realize that was coming off. Shamrock just joined a new pro wrestling company, so I kinda thought he'd be retiring again. He's kinda big to be fighting Tito, isn't the weight limit like 215? I would be surprised if Shamrock can get under 225 - especially if he's back in pro wrestling (more travel, less time to train)

I like Tito, but I don't think he can bull around Ken Shamrock like he does most of his other opponents. Actually, I'd rather see him fight Chuck or Vitor - especially Chuck, who I think has been waiting too long for a title shot.

Pride's having problems? So is UFC. Last PPV, they kinda breezed over the factRandy got the hvywt. belt back (due to the other kid being on roids[he sure didn't look like it]) and Little Evil not under contract and his belt up for grabs.

I think the once/month grind is catching up to them. They should cut back on the PPVs, or expand the rosters a LOT. Maybe make a joint venture with other organizations, split 12 PPVs between Pride and K1, or Valle Tudo - I don't get to see those last 2 organizations at all, woulnd't mind 3 PPVs from them.

I thought it was frank shamrock,if so it will be a good match up with tito :thumbsup

If Tyson had a decent sprawl and good ground defense, he could be unstoppable.

But he would get disqualified if he ever went to the ground out of frustration.

Dont forget that Tyson isnt just a boxer. Hes been a streetfighter his whole life.

So he could get his ass wooped quicker then he did in his last fight :winkwink:

Belfort - Liddell could go either way, both are great fighters. This should be a good fight.

I like Belfort's style, so he's my fav for the fight.

Vitor has the speed, power, and agility, and strength. He's more mature now. I remember when he first enter the octogon and in the semifinals of the match, he bully his way and pounded Tank Abbot. Ofcourse, once he face a professional wrestler(Randy Couture), he tried to use his strength, but come on', you can't take down a professional olympic wrestler. Anyway, he's much more mature now, and depend not just on his physical attribute, but also on his skills.

Ken Shamrock vs. Tito. I can also smell an upset. But then again, you never know. Tito is truly explosive. If Frank can come back full form, he can wup Tito "again".
