i just got into the music business i guess.. i funded my little brothers bands album production. they have opened up for Bad Company and a few other old school bands. they needed money to have their last album professionally recorded and mastered and 10,000 cd's produced. i got 5% on the money payable in 180 days after release adn 5% of the gross sales for life.

i have no clue about the industry but i wanted to help my brother and his friends out. they are very talented and will probably get a record deal at some point. hopefully the label they sign with will buy me out... if not, at least i gave the money to a good cause... family....

not really what i was looking for but ... i guess nice to know in case i need a hand later on down the line.

i just got one of these
takes a lil time when doing more than 1000 but when you are doing your own pressing in house you save ALOT of money and if you only need a couple hundred cd's you do what you need and not have to deal with company's min. orders :P
