Wireless rear speakers?
 

Are such available? I want to get rid of the wires running from the tv to the surround rear speakers. What are the options I have?

I use some AR wireless speakers ...

Just plug the transmitter in the back output. You may need some adapters, depending on the actual outpug plug.

Keep in mind that currently no wireless speakers can compete with wired for obvious interference reasons; if you are not an audiophile though you really won’t notice any degradation whatsoever. Sony makes decent wireless speakers if you just have to have them.

just get wired

think about it.. if they're wireless you have to plug a power cord anyway... better stick with audio wires than 2 extra power cords

But I hate those wires travelling across from the front to the back of the room. I only need rear speakers to be wireless. How do you hide those wires?

Hide them in the walls !
