New Site with original gothic content
 

I am a relatively inexperienced webmaster/photographer, and run a pair of gothic sites. GothicAmateur.com is Vail's personal site, and Blood Dolls features my original photography of nine very attractive gothic girls.

I am posting because I am interested in selling some of the content I have shot for these sites. I will be using all content on my own sites, but am willing to license content for non-exclusive resale, or exclusive resale, depending on the offer.

I have nine models so far (Bianca's content is not for sale at any cost, and additional model Marianne's content is available) including photos already on Blood Dolls, as well as content yet to be posted there. All are young, mostly between 19-24, and some are genuine amateurs. Most shoots have light gothic themes, some more so. I shoot softcore, for the most part, with some bondage and fetish themes. Photo sets range from 90-120 photos, and I offer them at high resolution, already post-processed.

As you are new to this board, beware marketing anything until you have at least a couple dozen posts under your belt. These guys are picky about spam and such. Besides, when you have friends that post on the board <cough> they can market for ya!

I just realized that my URL only shows up in the little "WWW" link at the top of my entires. The site I am promoting here, and working on the most lately, is Blood Dolls. I like to think its a goth site that doesn't suck.

I will admit that I do not know much about this "Gothic" thing.

It seems a mixture of locations will suit, everything fromoutdoor to the one I showed.

The central theme is the girl and her "attitude" she has to look "big" a little threatening. No place here for my little teenies.

The make up is important as well. studs piercings and the such help as well.

Not sure but it could be something with a lot of the girls here, just need to know if it's worth the money.

We have tons of goth stuff and are always looking for more....

we've purchased some of the "blondes in black wigs" shit only because it's harder to find "authentic goth" stuff...we've shot a lot of our own and are making deals with a lot of the gothic cam girls....

we're readying the re-release of Dark Dollars and have 3 new gothic sites amongst them....we also tend to combine it with punk grrls, and tattooed/pierced girls because content is difficult to find...and I meet tons of wannabe models at goth concerts, but out here, so many are underage and we won't touch that (but we tell them to give us a call when they do turn 18 ;)))

It sells, and it just seems to keep growing. No miraculous, phenomenal ascendency or anything, but I think it is getting popular. My own sites, which are very personal and not heavily promotes, do okay (except during this down season)... and my content is starting to sell without much advertising. I'm not getting rich, but I think people with more business sense, and time, than I have, are starting to...

The 25% is not terribly unusual in the market I am in. There is more than one world of adult sites out there. (The one represented on this forum is entirely new to me.) I generally work with people who run smaller, personal sites, often dark and/or artistic. Such sites are based off of almost all original content, created by the people who run and star on the sites.

We offer a standard of 25%, quite often, as an incencive for similar sites to link. That is the default, not the only option. We are able to control the percentage that is paid out for each partner. This means that I can reward people who are able to send significant traffic. If you would like a better rate, feel free to drop me a line.

You really need to make an area for your girls to be seen better than just a tour if you are serious about selling the content. (If there is one, I missed it some how) :) Tour pics are abit hard to decide with.

As I hope I made clear on the content page, once people interested in the content contact me, I can provide them with a password to view about 5,000 photos at web resolutions. I hope that seeing all of the content I am licensing is enough. ;)

I definitely understand. I've been known to have a few things on my plate at once, as well. ;) Anyhow, yes, I do let people look at all of the content that I offer, full sets at web resolutions. Some sets are on my site, so people can see stamped versions there. For the other sets, including incomplete sets, I have an area where you can see 640 x 480 versions. It is my belief that the best selling point of my photos is how they look. (That and my winning personality... :winkwink: )
