Has anyone ever sued their hosting company

These people have cost me thousands. It's one mistake after another. I will not mention the name of the company though. It was supposed to be a very reputable one. They have admitingly made numerous errors.

I am disabled from complications due to diabetes and these websites are my main income source. They are only a year old and still in the first stages of growing. Every time things get to the point of being succefull They screw something up and I am set back a month. ( Now I am screwed)

Should I Sue? I have a really really good lawyer. I don't want to be a jerk but have given too many chances for them to redeem themselves and they just keep bending me over.

Just leave them and move to another hosting company. Personally, i'm of the opinion that you get two chances - and if you fuck them both up consistently, i'm off faster than you can say "But please Mister! Let me try again".

That said, give ZYM Hosting a try. :thumbsup

Who is it?

wtfent 08-31-2006 11:47 AM

Is it http://www.dwhs.net/ ???

A suit will most likely be a waste of time. A one year old company was highly recommended? I have no idea who that could be.

Your best bet would be to get out quick. If you need help getting your things together and transferred, let me know, I'll hook you up with a good deal. We have over 7 years of experience under our belt.

I think he meant his sites were a year old :2 cents:

The most important thing is to move to somewhere that isn't going to cause more problems, then consider what action (if any) you may take against your former host......

Do they have a Service Level Agreement that they've breached?

I was talking about the sites,
I am going to move regardless. I have emails and phone messages stating that they screwed up so I will fight that liability crap. This is the reason people get away with stuff like this because of walking away. You have to let people know they are untouchable. A good year in court makes people think twice even if they win or loose.

If any of you are trading with me please forgive me for all the problems. I will remedy this situation. I have lost a lot of traffic due to this shieeet.

just move to a new host

Haha, perhaps you meant "infamous."

If you decide to move, I will help you as much as I can with the migration, free of charge. Because I am not tied to any specific hosting company, there's no strings. I've been in the situation where a host has been fucking things up, and know exactly how it feels.

Martin3 08-31-2006 02:03 PM

Just get a new host. Lawsuit would probably cost more then you would get out of them.

Contact Mike at www.xxxhostit.com :thumbsup

ilbb 08-31-2006 02:06 PM

spacedog 08-31-2006 02:13 PM
