I have real estate listings website & have no clue how to get it going?

By placing small classified ads all over the world you will become rich!

I was thinking of that, but my site charges a fee for seller to place an ad, so if I were to place classifieds everywhere for visitors to come,, who's going to pay for an ad when there are no other ads?

We're just in the early stages of building a real estate site as well and have been thinking about different ideas on how to get it launched. These types of sites are always a bitch to startup. We figure we'll offer free listings to private individuals but charge for "featured position" and charge real estate professionals to list. Another option is to allow anybody (private or professional) to have one free listing running at any time and charge for additional listings.

#1 rule:

Location, location, location!

how do you charge for a feautyre listing when no one is visiting your site yet?

I ran one of these sites years ago. Most sites that offer free listings have serious problems giving them away.

They can custom make your real estate website anyway you like....

I wanted to do just that, but I am having a hard time trying to figure out the payment gateway so that I can allow the registered user to be able to post without paying.. I can set up a listing via admin under my own account, but, otherwise, it loses automation If I have to manually add listings..

I am thinking of just selling the domain/site & script as a turnkey..
