Mac users: obvious question that i probably answered myself:

is there anyway to run exes on a MAC?

i have photoshop version for PC is there anyway i can install it? or do i have to buy a new one for MAC?

Unless you run Windows on the Mac, that app won't work. You would need the OSX version.

Mac has bootcamp which allows you to run both Windows and OS on the same Mac machine - but you will suffer the regular Windows viruses and everything else that goes along with Windows.

If you want to get the new Photoshop and you can wait you should hold out until the binary edition comes out - made to run natively on the new Macs- the Mac version of current Adobe products have to be recompilled using Mac's Rosetta program and it is really sluggish right now.

For bootcamp click here.

You could run virtual PC, or if you have a new OS just run windows. You'd be better of spending the money and buying the Mac version of CS though, way better. Or spend the time stealing/downloading it I suppose, depending on how you get your software.

Just install windows natively or run it through parallels or virtual desktop or something. Easy!

Exactly!!! :thumbsup

It makes sense. You have access to OSX apps & unix open source shit, and all your purchased windows programs.

Check out codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/

allows you to run windows apps in WINE in OS X without Windows

Cool stuff :thumbsup

parallels is far and away the best way to run windows.

It's not the quickest, but being able to switch from windows to osx just with a flick of a button is worth the speed dip. :)
