what is more widely used around the world? Visa or Mastercard?

I have two mastercards, and an amex....

I have never gotten a visa... I think alot more people will be moving to mastercard now that they are publicly traded. Alot of banks have started offering Mastercards instead of the Visa cards.. I think that has something to do with it a little..

lol.. When I applied for credit card.. I choose visa.. so i can signup with epassporte.. :)

I think that both Visa and Mastercard go hand in hand, you can't find a place that takes one without the other, but I know in the States, Visa is more used.

Mr. Romance

Mastercard is making some moves to get its brand out. Over the past year and a half or so I have noticed Mastercard transactions rising. It's about 65% Visa vs. 35% Mastercard.

Visa 70%.... Master card 30%...

Visa of course but I use MC

never thought about it, 99.9% of the places take both, so it doesn't really matter much...
