Thumbnail spots for $1 each..
 

I run a 10k TGP, and was just thinking if selling thumbnail spots would be a good idea?

I would have 10 spots with 80% going to the gallery and 20% to trades...

Is $1 not enough, or is it too much?

For $6 I'd give a weeks worth of thumbs...

Someone else on here was selling a thumb for 7 cents per 1000 impressions. So you can use your # of impressions to figure if $1 per is like his deal. Who knows if he's actually selling spots though!

You will know when to start selling spots on your TGP when people who submit to you start asking if they can buy spots on it.

I get 10,000 unique a day, so at 0.0007 an impression it comes out to $0.70 a spot...

10k tgp? that might be worth it if it was all search engine traffic. i dont think you're going to have any luck getting someone to pay for a listing on a 10k tgp. right now you should work on getting people to submit, 10k is barely enough for some people spending the time to submit, let alone pay $1.
