Quick unix question - zipping files
 

I Have some directories filled with stuff that I need to zip up on my server...using telnet, is there a command to zip all files in a directory, rather than typing out each one individually, ie "zip zippedfile file1 file2 file3 etc..." ...google doesn't seem to want to help me today.
