How to motivate urself after 10 years in porn business!!
 

Shit.... Im fuckin not motivated to do this business anymore. My site as been up for over 7 years and making money from it & could make much more if I work at it. The only fuckin thing I do is looking at my stats:(

Please I need to motivation...

Im the same way.. I started in 97.. working atleast 10hr days 6 days a week since then.. Self employeed the last 4 years and im burnt.. I thought about what 12clicks said and Im suddently motivated again! haha.. Taking orders from someone else.. doing manual labor.. no thanks

The most obvious way - that leaps immediately to mind - is trying something new. If you own a tgp and have achieved all your goals, setup something new that has new inherent goals (dating site, paysite, sponsor program, cam site, money lending, so on, so on).

The irony is that while indeed becoming their own bosses, many webmasters have condemned themselves to a more tedious treadmill than many would be spending their days on otherwise.

The solution for some is to become a boss: hire other people to deal with the grind and use the freed up time to figure out ways to expand the business. But we don't all want to go that route and it isn't always an option.

One way to make your business more interesting (and more profitable) is to be more interested in it. Chances are you didn't come into online porn equipped with a full quota of technical, business and marketing skills and if you have only expanded your knowledge as forced to by events, you will still only have scratched the surface in many areas.

Start learning how to do your job better. Some of the topics may not interest you in their own right, but when you can apply them to your site, they will add a new dimension to your work as well as helping you get better results. From a purely practical point of view, the market is becoming far more competitive. If you don't keep ahead of the crowd, or at least up with the leaders, in another 7 years you likely will be working for someone else.

If that doesn't do the trick, even if it does, add some other focus to your life. If you are making enough, it doesn't have to be online or even make money. But some successful (mainstream) ventures are basically people telling others about something which interests them.

May be you need something to buy, like a big house for children or a car. THat could be a motivation.

I agree working for someone else for a little while.

Maybe take a vacation - but if you are gone for a week & discover you can still make money vacationing it will make it even harder to get back to work instead of fucking off! :2 cents:

i was getting those feelings of being unsatified because alot has just leveled off recently.

then i started to work out for like an hour a day, it will make you feel amazing.

for that matter try doing at least 1 other activity per day other then being online, it will give you a sense of accomplishment.

try doing something different and new. If you don't blog, setup one and start doing it. If you have never run a surfer forum, give that a go. Mix things up and get your mind working on fresh new stuff.

I'm self-employed. My boss is a pain in the ass.

I started working at a club on weekends for fun, thou same here nothing seems as fun anymore online.. the learning new things and making money on the way was a rush, now it seems like something I must do.
