Well I'm watching the news now and they said it might get down graded to tropical storm if it stays over land long enough in Cuba.

Either way as long as it doesn't get over cat 3 I'm cool with it.. Just sucks if we lose power.

It is a TS right now. But when it comes out over the Florida straits it is expected to intensify quickly as the water is verrrrrry warm

Now how long it stays in the straits will determine how strong it gets before land fall

The storm track has been moving eastward. This weekend is was to go up the West coast and then through florida. Now it's going up the east coast. If that trend continues it'll be going through the bahamas, instead of east florida.
