I know why and I hate to tell you but noones gonna get you one

Sucks - but Ive read the fineprint and everyone does that here, this is not just an invitation theres a lot more to it

No i sincerely want one of our male producers to get a 3 day visa to Holland. There are no ulterior motives here, other than teaching him more about the business.

If you knew me you would no I am shooting straight from the hip.

Warmest Regards,

The Bossxxx

* a reservation for the journey
* documents showing that you intend to return to your country of origin (for instance an employer’s declaration,
* proof of registration of school-age children or proof that you own your own home)

You shouldn't need an invite. Proof of registration, proof of flight and a hotel confirmation should be enough.

Getting a visa with a invitation is actually harder and the person inviting you needs to get a lot of paperwork. It's not a case of just simply writing a letter and sending it.

IF youre from a country that needs VISAs to enter Holland yes you do.

The IND link I gave is there to check that, these are EU rules btw.

Tip: Holland is in Schengen (as are most EU countries minus the Brits), so if Dutch embassy/consulate gives you a hard time you can get a visa issued by a neighboring one and make a stop there.

But first step is always checking with the nearest consulate of the country-in this case Netherlands. Which country is your producer from? It should not be a problem if he's going for three days.

It's two different types of visa. If you get invited by someone it's a personal visit visa that's issued, if you stay in a hotel (no invite required) it's a tourist visa .

The point I was making is that it's easier to get a tourist visa rather than personal visit visa.
