U.S. flight attendants.... what's the deal?
 

I've noticed on flights for the past few years the flight attendents for U.S. based airlines are becoming older, larger and less atractive. Nothing against their weight, but half of them can barely fit down the isle. And a bad attitude is common place.

However, anytime I fly on an international carrier, the attendants are always young, friendly and generally hotties.


Anyone else notice this?

the American air industry sucks. period.

It is the Unions. Because of the cut backs and the reductions in staff by the airlines, they had to fire the newest employees first. Last In First Out.

That is why airlines like JetBlue that are new have much more attractive flight attendants.

You can blame the Unions and the Terrorists everytime you fly and have to see a butt fugly bitter old hag offering you a can of Pepsi on a flight.

I miss the early days of Southwest Airlines :(

the most homely, and least accomodating are on USA airlines with American probably the worst.

hottest attendants i've seen are on Singapore Air, Thai Air and Swiss Air

Some classic PR from flight attendants... Heard this one on an international flight, (tho it was only 3 hours) - and so did other passengers...

My bestman has been studying in sweden for the past 4-5 years, and he says that although the girls are mostly pretty fucking fine looking. They're UBER-high maintenance, and fucking annoying and he could NEVER consider seriously dating one.

..but then again, I bet they're great fucks.

I don't care what the damn flight attendant looks like. I get on the plane and read a magazine or sleep until I reach my destination. I don't give a shit what the person looks like who hands me peanuts and a Pepsi. Is there a chance that a passenger and a flight attendant will "hook up"? No! So what does it matter how she looks? You see them for just a few moments on an entire flight anyway.

It's not an idea of "hooking up", just having someone who provides customer service excel in all facets of it. It also seems that people in the states are pretty open to just accepting whatever poor service is handed to them. If you do any international flying, you'll will see the obvious difference between the two.

If I was into BBW's, I would absolutely love to fly either Southwest or American airlines. :) However, I do believe that a flight attendant should be able to fit down the isle and have service with a smile.

You did a good job describing US domestic flights to a "t" though.

Bump... Korean Airlines flight attendants are good .. friendly service and if you're into extremely tall Asians, they will be right up your alley. The plane wasn't all that though. Spare on entertainment, especially for an 11 hour flight.

However, All Nippon Airlines is fantastic.

6foot+?? that's a huge bitch! i've never been one to like super tall women. I guess 6' is fine since i'm 6', but taller... wow. personally i like small, but well proportioned girls. nice booty is definitely my thang too.

Air travel period sucks. I avoid it whenever possible.

Air travel outside of the States is typically a joy. Even though no one really wants to be stuck on a airplane, a 7-10 hr international flight is much more enjoyable than a 1 hour domestic flight.

They were all pretty hot 15-20 years ago, but time spares none...
