Any restrictions regarding carrying laptops or cellphones as carryon, or did you have to check them?

Just flew on tuesday. Laptops and cel phones are fine in your carry on. No bottles of water or gels in your carry on. If you check them (gel, toothpaste) in your luggage you are fine.

Unless you are flying from the UK to DC, you can take a laptop on the plane with you.

Oh.. and the flights were international (from Asia to the U.S.) and also a domestic flight within the U.S. No issues on either of them with the laptop or cel phone.

laptops and cellphones, fortunately, are already allowed but liquid stuff aren't... but they allow it if it's placed in the luggage.
