Wordpress 404 Pages again
 

Anyone know how to modify 404 wordpress pages? My theme has a 404 page but the changes I made aren't working right.

is there a 404.php in your templates folder?

"ain't working right" doesn't give anyone anything to go on.

either you fucked up the php code
you don't understand html
your server is also set up with a custom 404 page and its showing instead of the wordpress page.

open 404.php in the admin area and cut and paste the original code to it and keep playing until you get it right.

Not working right as it doesn't even display the default 404 from the theme.

Example:

What is shown: Sorry, but the page you requested cannot be found.

What template shows: "Sorry dude, doesn't exist. Not here. Nada. Zilch."

Is there another default 404?

check index.php for that "sorry, but the ..." shit it'll be in there for the else in the posts loop

If you're using Dreamweaver you can search your template directory (or all wordpress directories) for "Sorry dude, doesn't exist. Not here. Nada. Zilch."

Yeah I found it. Can I modify it to include pictures via html?

wtf after I modified that it still shows the default.
