hand wash your car or lazy drive thru wash it?
 

i really feel lazy and cant seem to get up and clean my car all by hand so i keep going to these drive thru things. what do you do are you as lazy as me? and what kind of results are you getting with your bitch?

when I was a kid my parents washed the car by hand, took a good while, and wasn't a nice experience overall

nah, its definitely not for me

i see no reason to do it by yourself, unless you can't afford a car wash, or you own some luxury car that you love to take car by yourself

I have a place that sends someone over to pick mine up, cleans it, then brings it back. Sometimes if I'm out and near his shop, I'll leave it myself and one of them will drive me home.

i take mine to La Casa Mehico....(not sure of the name) but all the workers are mexican...they vacuum your ride (steal all your change & lighters), then take it thru the wash machine, & hand dry it (steal the rest of yoru quarters)

they do a great job, just take all the change out of your car before hand

Pay someone. They usually have a special on Tuesdays.

I used to take it through the drive through "Touchless" but it came out crappy, so then I did the coin operated one you do yourself, and that came out crappier. But just two weeks ago I learned from a detailer how to properly wash a car, and now it looks FABULOUS and I'm going to do it regularly :)

i usually like to take my car to the power washers and do it by hand but i've found them very hard to find since moving to ottawa, they only seem to have a couple in the east end. i don't like the drive thru ones as people say they can scratch your car.

yeah i always went to a good one when i was in dallas but this place i'm in now in a fairly small place and they dont have a good car wash like that. so its me or the touchless and the touchless ones suck, of course my car is black so it always looks bad.

I hand wash. When you goto drivethrus they really screw up the paint, eventually making it dull. And full of swirls, check it out in the sunlight...

Always wash them myself. I have a 5 hp gas power sprayer that has a liquid soap feeder so the job gets done easily enough. I actually find it enjoyable on a hot day to wash the car, relaxing to me.

I have always hand watched my car, then I clay bar the car to remove debris that soap can't remove.
