when i as a little girl one of favorite games was playing "what if" wtih my grandad.

we would make up rules and play all afternoon.

if you could go back in time to invest where and when would you go?

the rules: you get 10 ounces of gold, you can't come back to the present, you can't take anythign else with you except the gold, you arrive naked. you know the future what will happen, etc.

1o ounces is not a lot, so go far back? but! life was harder the farther back you go.

Allright, I'd go back last week. Go to a jewellery store. Sell the gold. Then buy a lottery ticket with the winning numbers.

I'm now richer.

Shit, with so many insane tech-stock plays over the last 10 years, I have to think you could do a lot better than the lottery. What's 10oz worth today, like $6k. I'd probably pick up an IPO, if I could. Remember Dell? But then, fuck, you could go back like a 1,000 years or something and fund the right expedition and become an emperor or a demiGod, which could also be cool. Yeah, this would take some research.

Hmmm? if I wanted quick money to use in the very near future I?d go back to the year 2002. I?d trade my 10 ounces of gold to Jack Whittaker for everything on his person ? clothes, wallet, and most importantly, recently purchased lottery ticket. I?d then wait until December 24th in which I would then be in possession of $314.9 million dollars via the winning lottery ticket.

Of course if I wanted power I?d go back and invest it all into Microsoft. Since it was the haze end of the drug era, arriving naked wouldn?t have been much of a deal. Fast forward decades later and you?d be almost a billionaire with lots of options, BUT would you really want to wait that long to get back to this time period?

I wouldn?t? I think I?d go with the 2002 lottery win.

if i were a getting fat webmaster it might accelerate the growth of my man-tits.

I'd go back to 1998 and ride the up the stock wave with options all the way, then I'd do the same with put options during the crash pushing the debt limit I can get to the limit. Then I'll retire to think about what I'll do with my new riches.
