Oh he's GORGEOUS! I love brindle dogs. At the vets office a lady had 2 brindle rescued greyhounds. Just beautiful dogs.

My two older dogs (10, 13)love baths, hate nail clipping. Ariel (2) hates baths and tolerates nail clipping. The puppy (4 months) I haven't taken to the groomers yet, but he tolerates the nail clipping.

I have had to pay extra for them to cut my 10 year old male's nails at every single groomer I've take him to. He just TOTALLY freaks out. Whenever he has to be put under for anything, I always tell them to cut his nails while he doesn't know what's going on :)

What a beautiful dog! Congrats on your new addition. From your first pic he looked like pitbull to me too. Our big boy is a pit/boston terrier mix (given to us as full boston grrr) and he's the biggest sweetheart too. He definitely needs his aggression-tamers though. We got him one of those giant exercise balls and he loves to run around the house and attack it, runs into all the walls with it and bounces off. I wouldn't have chosen a pit mix but he's become the best dog I've ever had :thumbsup

How do you get a dog interested in a ball? He just looks at it whenever I throw it...He doesn't even bite it...Maybe the type of ball I am using?

Hmm not sure on that one. With Motley's first ball we took him to PetsMart so he could choose the one he wanted. There was only one he was interested in when we rolled it on the floor.

But I have a feeling some dogs just aren't into balls. Our middle dog, the smallest one the pic with the little tennis ball in her mouth, is totally addicted to her ball. She'll sleep with that thing in her mouth, even drops it in the water bowl so she can keep an eye on it while she drinks. But then the youngest one could care less about a ball. She does what yours does, looks at you like, "And...?" :1orglaugh

Does he like tug-of-war type toys? A lot of pits like rope toys they can pull on. My girlfriend's pit had a rope hanging from a tree in the yard, she would just jump up and hold onto that thing forever. I'll drag Motley around the entire house trying to run with him on the other end of his rope toy. It's a workout! But he loves to pull on that thing. Maybe your boy is more of a tug of war type?

I brought him to petsmart today too...God I love how cool that is that you can bring the dog in the store...I bought him a bunch of stuff...pretty much whatever he sniffed and liked...now he could care less bout most of it...I don't know if its because he's adjusting or what...He's just complicated...lol

I'll try the rope toy...I believe he was abused when he was younger...(he is less then a year currently)...So I have that hurdle to deal with...But I am home 24/7 so I plan on giving him alot of attention and show him its okay not to be affraid...
