server problems please help
Hello, I set up an account with Energyhosting and changed my DNS settings yesterday.. I have a few domains on that account and this morning when I tried visiting megakournikova.com, I was sent to a page with annakournikova-nude.com.. not too good as you can imagine to have this non-adult traffic getting there.. of course getting good numbers today but certainly not what I want..
So I figured the things had been inversed and megakournikova.com had been set to direct to the annakournikova-nude.com directory but when I modify that one, it does not change anything on megakournikova.com... Any ideas ? I sent an urgent email to Energyhosting and am waiting for answer.. |
Lots of weird things with this two domains
and a very weird way for a host co. to handle them why do they use ips from different B classes ? one is going through Level3 another one through Bbbnplanet are they even hosted on the same server ? one is using ns1, ns2 the other one ns3, ns4.... hmm, something I'm missing here., Anyways if you still need help hit me on icq. I can figure it out but I need more info |
Don't forget that it can take a few hours for the DNS changes to be copied around the DNS servers. Most of these servers keep a local copy of the DNS list and refresh them periodically.
