Any blog software/plugin that can automatically post pre-written entries?

For example, I want to be able to write out 5 entries at once and specify when they'll go live on my blog. For example, have the first entry get posted today at noon, the second entry at midnight, third entry at noon tomorrow, etc.

Is there any software or plugin that can do this? I'm not looking for something custom.

Rss2anywhere can to this:
http://www.adultblogresource.com/rss2anywhere/

Rss2Anywhere allows you to post items of a RSS feed with a specific interval on one or more blogs (thumblogger, wordpress, anything that supports the Blogger api).

Tutorials for the starters are available. :pimp

Wordpress has the Timestamp option that you can change, but listen, its not good doing this...
Site doesnt get pinged that way.

Oops, ignore my orginal post please, i thought the blog entries came from a rss feed.
In your case wordpress timestamp thingy is likely the best. There may be a plugin that fixed the pinging problem, just use google.

Well, you can write your own code, or just register your site and send a hit to Pingoat..

It doesn't ping when the post actually goes up? That sucks :(

Thanks for the info, everyone.

There is a plugin WP-Cron which ignores post-dated articles when they are saved, but checks every 15 minutes if any have been published, and if so updates the pings and trackbacks.

But it is also worth reading this article to understand how inefficient pinging is: of all the sites pingomatic (the WordPress default) pings, only two are likely to list your site). And BTW if inspired by the shortcomings of pingomatic and its competitors, you decide to put in 40-odd individual sites to ping, schedule lunch or something after you publish each article...
