Do companies in the UK still use co.uk? or do they use .com?
cuz I found a killer domain name thats available on co.uk

I guess that companies wanting to stress that they are UK based would use .co.uk (especially businesses wanting to sell goodsonline in the UK). Other businesses may feel that they would prefer an international profile and therefore use .com. I doubt many UK based adult businesses (myself included) would use .co.uk

.co.uk is the second most popular CCTLD (.de is number 1), so yes it's used and it's use is still growing.

yeah most companies will have the .com and .co.uk if available.
.co.uk domains used to have an approx value of about 10% of the value of the .com in most cases (as did .net) not sure if that rule still applies. |
its simple, if they sell to the uk they use .co.uk. if they sell internationally they use .com
