First off, thanks to my employers, I was able to purchase a fine piece of german engineering for my wife.

After test driving about 7 different automobiles (Mazda 6, Mazda CX-7, 04' BMW 325i (I think that's what model it was), Toyota Land Cruiser, Honda Accord, Honda Element & a Ford Fivehundred..eww) and comparing specs across the board, we decided on this. (Camera sucks...please forgive the shitty pics)

Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T -

I was completely biased after the first 5 minutes driving this car. Handling is superb. Interior is just laden with materials that "feel" great. Leather, etc. Solid car. Plus the 2.0 Turbo engine is a fucking blast to scoot around town in. 0-60 in about 7 seconds with a top speed around 130 - 140. I don't know if she'll actually get a chance to drive this car LMAO! I love it. Never been a Volkswagen man before, infact, I always sort of chuckled at them while thinking of the old beetle and the bus. Heh...who knew?

Actually Mike, while I loved that car, it had to go. Too many problems popping up over and over. I'd get the brakes fixed and the CV joints would go. I get them fixed and I'd have to replace the thermostat. Thing only had like 80K miles on it too. :(

Edit** The fact that I would try to race every car I pulled up next to probably didn't help holding that car together either.:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

The turbos in these things are impressive. Alot more than what I expected at the outset for sure. From what I understand, they get a little quicker after you break in the turbo aswell. Yowsa!!
