When is it time to delete files?
 

Quick question (i know i should have posted this in Q & A, but its dead in there)

As a gallery builders I upload 16 pics, 16 thumbs, 1 banner and about 40 html flies daily. All this starts to add up, one can run out of space in no time. When is it ok to delete some galleries, how long should one wait. Im sure TGP's dont keep your galleries for ever. I was thinking about 3-4 months , is that ok?

Can't you just tell by your traffic stats when the pictures stop being accessed?

Space is dirt cheap man, and you really aren't adding that much. Just leave your galleries online...

how can u run out of space? my server has like 36gb of hard drive...

deleting galleries is like the stupidest mistake a webmaster can make all the work for nothing, and you'd be blacklisted

,,, over time it can be spidered by SE's and later down the road you might wanna build up a collection and make another sites,,, ie,, i still grab like 3 galleries i made and make a FREE and AVS site out of them,,, you need to learn how to recycle your work :)

i must have over 1 million pages floating out there on the internet,,, only bad thing is if a sponser goes away its to damn hard for me to change them :(

i just gotta ask whats up with sig why not just put the first letter of each word? i'm sure it makes something cathy up :) kinda like we did with AEOLN ( Adult Entertainment Online Networks)
