If you think adult is bad get into the mortgage business, the insurance business, the banking industry even. There you will find real live theives and persons lacking any morality, actually just give politics a try.

SteveLightspeed 08-24-2006 04:20 PM

I remember thinking the same thing, and later realizing that creates the opportunity for honest companies to set themselves apart and thrive.

Describes business in general.

Pornwolf 08-24-2006 05:45 PM

Prostitution? No shit? I've been missing my share of paid pussy. I need to change my gameplan and become a content shooter or something.

BoyAlley 08-24-2006 05:47 PM

This thread makes my elbow itch............

eurabia 08-25-2006 12:14 AM

O please. Sure in some industries people perpetrate fraud and theft but its not a rule, rather an exception. Here, it seems to be the norm. So dont tell "this is just like any other business". That's bullshit.

if you're talking about shaving, heres some news.. even big companies like wal-mart are guilty of "shaving" hours off their employee's paychecks.. its actually a very very common tactic store managers use to lower their stores overhead.

Dishonest behaviour hurts the dishonest person himself.

I think the legal system is the most corrupt, dishonest and unfair, but that's just me...

hahaha, you're pretty clueless aren't you :1orglaugh
stealing and fraud are a part of almost any industry.

Chocolate, you'd be surprised what % of that is picked by enslaved children, diamonds (and all other mining come to that), don't get me started on that.
Transportation, pretty high % of people working on cargo boats are slaves.

Banking, insurrance, law, realestate all thrive on fraud and deception.

Look at Enron, parmalat all those big scandals, the cooking of books might have gotten out of hand there but belve me there's a lot more of it on a smaller scale than most people would belive.

Porn is probaly the most innocent industry of the whole bloody lot

eurabia 08-25-2006 10:02 AM

Just a little example. There's established and "respected" traffic brokers who sell/re-sell chinese traffic. Let's see... why would anyone buy that traffic except as to fuck over your "trade partners" or some other sinister use? We all know it doesnt convert... Yet... There's no shortage of Chinese traffic buyers and sellers. The whole premise of "traffic trading" is to fuck over fellow webmasters.

then stay the fuck away.

DaddyHalbucks 08-25-2006 10:54 AM

Well at least pornographers do not pretend to be something they are not.

How about real estate brokers pretending to look out for the homeowner, or judges pretending to care about the law, or teachers unions pretending to care about the children --when they are really just looking out for themselves and/ or have a hidden agenda --do you consider them more "honest?"

DutchTeenCash 08-25-2006 11:00 AM

Thats how I think, I believe I'm honest and one of the few people that will help someone for even nothing in return because I'd like to have a good name for myself. I think at some point in time I'll be linked up with 'other' good people and we'll do real business.

scottybuzz 08-25-2006 11:11 AM

dont like it, leave punk.

soccer industry is the theiving industry.

Webby 08-25-2006 11:14 AM

The adult business is no different to any other.

Like most commercial markets, there are plently individuals involved who are not thieves and scammers, - and who do possess some moral fiber. It's not a biz thing - more down to an individual level. You either got it and walk the walk, or not.

Flip side is, sure, there are plenty of the other side, - some survive, others are six month wonders. Shit always surfaces at some point.

Cyber Fucker 08-25-2006 12:08 PM

I can assure you there are more fucked up businesses than this industry. Come to Poland and see how one man can use another...

woj 08-25-2006 12:12 PM

That's how capitalism works, welcome to the real world...

eurabia 08-25-2006 01:05 PM

Leave the industry? Hah! I'm in it only to make money. I'm not in it to make friends with bald fat ugly scumbag fucks who comprise over 2/3 of this industry. That's why I will never goto an industry "event".

fl_prn_str 08-25-2006 01:14 PM

The porn business by its nature is inheritantly shady. Anyone who says different is on drugs. But then again let?s see Enron, Tyco, Adelphia, WorldCom, and HealthSouth are not all the paragons of professional and legitimate business ethics and operations either and all of those companies were in the ?square? world (i.e., Listed on NYSE).

So then don't trade traffic with people you don't know. Or don't trade traffic period. Trade hard links.

Now was that so difficult?
