Pluto no longer a planet
 

That was a weird thing to hear on "breaking news":upsidedow

Group of scientists just voted Pluto out of planet status.

I know, right? Kind of strange to have something that I've "known" since I was a kid be changed like that.

Fuck those scientists up their asses. Pluto will remain a planet because of the people's will, not because of scientists deciding to erase its planet-hood status from future books.

It's still a planet, just a different kind of planet (plutons).... the solar system is about to be changed quite radically (from our point of view anyway).

That's funny that you mention that because if you listen to morning shows you know a lot of the people who call in are idiots. I have no idea why they all seem to be so attracted to being live on the radio.

Anyway, one of the djs started asking them, "Do you think we should keep all twelve planets or should Pluto be dropped?". Not a single damn one of them ever knew the difference. :1orglaugh They were all screaming and preaching about how they'd grown up with twelve planets and had learned about the twelve planets in school and they did NOT think it was right to teach our kids that there are only eleven now.
